2020 was the year that either it flew by or stood still for you. For us, it was both! So many tough decisions and lost wages came out of the country shutting down; most specifically anything hospitality service related, I believe, was hit the hardest. Yes, Chef was just blossoming in its stardom when it all came to a screeching halt. But nevertheless, we picked ourselves right up, revamped our business to a 100% contact-less delivery service, and kept pushing forward. So in retrospect, 2020 also gave us some amazing opportunities to do things differently; in a direction we may have never had to think of our business taking so early on.
I am grateful for 2020 because 2021 has proven anything is possible should you just not give up on your opportunities and its possibilities. It has been everything but easy, however, the reward has been that much more sweet. We have the most amazing clients that stuck it through with us, a new course in our business plan, AND the possibility of our restaurant coming to fruition MUCH sooner than we could have dreamed when we launched in 2019.
I have the most AMAZING and supportive family who I could have achieved nothing without them. I am looking forward to announcing an opening of a brick-and-mortar date of Yes, Chef in 2022!! Please keep your fingers crossed and your hearts open for us! Until then, we appreciate your continued support and look forward to celebrating all the fun holidays in the current months to come with you.
